Comfort and support
This turn free mattress is constructed using a nested/honeycomb pocketed innerspring system to reduce mattress movement between partners and ensure even bodyweight distribution. Nested pocket coils have 30% more springs than conventional pocket coils for firm support. Pocket coils are the only springs that contour to the shape of the body to offer both comfort and support. Densely packed with minimal gaps, the pocket spring system provides firm support, contouring to the body, enhancing blood circulation and vastly reducing movement between partners, giving individuals an undisturbed sleep.
The spring system is topped with a 70mm layer of 5-zoned 65 density pure latex for firm foundational support. This is topped with a 40mm layer of super-soft latex imported from Belgium. The pure latex is firmer in the hip zone and softer towards the head and foot of the mattress. The reinforced center is in accordance with international chiropractic recommendations and ensures correct alignment of the spine and enhanced lumbar support.
Durability
This mattress has an innerspring system with a 2.3mm gauge carbon/steel coil. The spring unit is connected to a 4.8mm gauge border wire to provide a firm edge to the mattress. The edge of this mattress is fully foam encapsulated to maximise the sleep surface and prevent the edges from collapsing. A Duratech insulation pad is laid over the spring unit to serve as a buffer zone and prevent the springs from tearing the latex.
Fabric and health protection
This premium mattress is covered with luxurious dual stretch knit fabric imported from Belgium that easily adapts to body contours and temperature. This fabric keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter. It is treated with a no-mite high care treatment to prohibit dust mites and prevent fungus mould which reduces the likelihood of allergies and asthma. Pure latex also has natural anti-bacterial and dust mite repellent properties.
